your challenge
We are looking for an experienced professional to support the executive leadership of Aalberts IPS in driving strategic projects across EMEA. This is a dynamic and diverse role for someone with experience in driving large, complex and strategic projects who is eager to grow into a future director role. You will work on a wide range of strategic projects and offer support to the strategy director and executive leadership of IPS.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and drive large strategic and transformation projects such as footprint optimization, integration, operational and commercial projects;
- Prepare project documentation, steering committee updates, and communication materials;
- Conduct strategic analyses such as make-buy analyses, developing business cases, product line evaluation, market and competitive analyses;
- Support the (development and) execution of the strategy;
- Support the executive leadership of Aalberts IPS in their decision making.
requirements
- Master’s degree in technical (e.g. engineering, physics) or economics/business field;
- Approximately 5-10 years of work experience, with hands-on experience managing large, complex projects from initiation, to design to implementation;
– Combined work experience involving both consulting as well as work experience in the industry is a plus;
– Operations background (supply chain, manufacturing, procurement) is a plus. Technical or engineering background is a plus, but experience and ability working in “engineering companies” can suffice. - Strong analytical skills and experience with data, reporting, and creating actionable recommendations based on insights;
- Strong team player who can independently drive large strategic projects, with limited guidance in the day-to-day;
- Ability to problem-solve complex issues, break them down into manageable pieces and deliver results - in collaboration with other stakeholders;
- Hands-on, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
- Ability to collaborate with many different stakeholders (executive, working level, internal, external, technical and non-technical);
- Willingness to go the extra mile when needed;
- Available for 32 – 40 hours per week.
