As a people & culture project officer at Aalberts integrated piping systems EMEA/APAC based in Hilversum, the Netherlands, you will be responsible for a wide range of strategic and operational projects to contribute to the development our people agenda and organisational goals. You will collaborate closely with the people & culture network EMEA/APAC, and report to the director people & culture EMEA/APAC.

your challenge

We are looking for a people & culture project officer to support the director people & culture and the broader P&C network across EMEA and APAC. This is a dynamic and diverse role for someone who is eager to grow into a future people & culture manager or director role. You will work on a wide range of strategic projects and offer operational support to contribute to the development of our people agenda and organizational goals.

Key responsibilities:
• support the execution of the people agenda and strategic HR roadmap;
• offer operational HR support;
• manage and coordinate (international) HR projects such as employer branding, onboarding, talent & learning, compensation & benefits, and diversity & inclusion;
• coordinate the implementation of the follow-up actions of the Aalberts employee motivation survey;
• assist and prepare P&C communications, such as newsletters and social media, to enhance engagement and visibility;
• report on people & culture KPIs and provide insights to improve HR impact;
• contribute to the design and implementation of HR processes and systems;
• facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders and the P&C colleagues of Aalberts;
• prepare project documentation, steering committee updates, and communication materials;
• drive continuous improvement and efficiency in HR operations and project governance.

requirements

• bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Studies, or a related field;
• approximately 3-5 years of experience in HR and/or project management;
• available for 32 – 40 hours per week;
• strong analytical skills and experience with data, reporting, and deriving actionable insights;
• hands-on, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced international environment;
• excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
• strong team player who can work independently and take ownership of projects;
• experience with HR systems and tools is a plus.
